A savory, earthy nose sets up a palate-pleasing suggestion of rhubarb with a slight sensation of white pepper balanced by bold oak and pronounced tannin on the finish. Our 2011 vintage was the 2015 Governor's Cup winner!
WINEMAKER NOTES:
This increasingly popular cold hearty grape has larger berries with thick skins. Aged in 75% French & 25% New Hungarian oak barrels.
